Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, BIBD, officially launched a new addition to the BIBD Connects series with a new facility in Temburong District. The new addition reflects the bank's continued efforts to enhance community engagement and financial inclusion nationwide, under the concept of connecting people within the community.

The launching was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs as the Chairman of BIBD. Designed with sustainability and environmental consciousness at its core and featuring energy-efficient designs, the building will incorporate rainwater harvesting and solar panels to power lighting, ensuring minimal impact on the environment. As the third facility in the BIBD Connects series - the Temburong project will feature key amenities to serve the local population and rentable spaces for micro, small, and medium enterprises, MSMEs.
